Everglades National
Park Institute

Explore the Park through Naturalist-Led Educational Eco-Adventures

$219

Explore “off the beaten track” in Florida Bay by powerboat, paddle through the mangrove forests in Lake Ingram and go ashore on Cape Sable’s remote, seldom visited natural beach. This can be a great chance to see American Saltwater Crocodiles, along with some of the many birds Everglades National Park is famous for.  Your Captain and Naturalist will help you learn about the ecosystems and wildlife of the mangrove forests, along with stories of the fascinating history of early settlers on a full-day adventure.

Offering The Best Educational Programs

Everglades National Park Institute is a unique partnership between Everglades National Park and an official nonprofit partner, Florida National Parks Association. The Institute provides immersive, educational experiences for visitors of Everglades National Park. Be sure to also visit our sister Institutes in Biscayne National Park and Big Cypress Preserve.

These interactive programs teach visitors about the ecosystems and history of the park and its surrounding areas. Proceeds from programs are used to support Everglades National Park.
